MoU signed by GBC Chair - Dr Ryan Tewari in Indore

In support of the sustainable food movement in India, the GIO Business Chamber (GBC) has partnered with Mahler Funds, based in Amsterdam, to establish an investment venture in Indore called Indo European Food Park (IEFP India Pvt. Ltd.). The venture is currently constructing a cold storage and mini-processing facility on Dewas.


The primary goals of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of India include:

  • Gradually scaling up to finalize a 10,000 MT logistics facility powered by solar energy.

  • Developing a B2B Agtech app to facilitate cross-border trading for farmers and with farmers, enabling the import and export of organic products.

  • Expanding the main office in Indore with data scientists and financial modelers, in addition to local specialists experienced in working with FPOs.

  • Signing up a cooperative with approximately 500 farmers to start the virtual platform while providing them with local expertise in organic produce and fertilizers.


Mahler Funds, a company specializing in emerging markets using European expertise and regional knowledge, is currently in talks to initiate a data center investment project in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
